Tourism Association (TA)
“Batuvtsi,” was founded in 1939 and is a member of the
Bulgarian Tourism Union.
Its primary goal is to popularize
the natural and historical tourist attractions of the Western
Rhodopi region and of Batak in particular. TA “Batuvtsi” manages
the Tourist Hostel “Kolarov House,”
and provides hiking guides through the summer.
TA “Batuvtsi” is working towards
the rehabilitation many tourist attractions in the Batak area
including: the mountain chalet “Teheran;” the marking of
hiking trails to the nearby peak of “Batashki Snezhnik” – 2082
m; and the ancient bridge
“Kemera.” |
